Most people associate abundance with having lots of money and material things. And while the word abundance means plenty and having more than enough of, it actually has nothing to do with the amount of money you have in your bank account. Abundance is a feeling and therefore you can create abundance in your life regardless of your financial situation.
Imagine for a moment what it would feel like to have financial freedom. What would you do? What would you look like? How would you think? How would it change the way you live your life? Really immerse yourself in the feeling it would give you.
The goal isn’t to work harder or find a second job to make more money. Chances are that would leave you feeling more drained, stressed out and bitter. The goal is to create the positive and “feel good” energy that you imagine yourself feeling when you’re living in abundance.
Abundance doesn’t only have to come in the form of money either. You could feel abundant in all areas of your life. The amazing friendships you have, the amount of love you feel for your family, or even all the amazing choices you have when you go to the grocery store.
We live in a very abundant world where there is plenty for everyone and we are all deserving of it. The key is to focus on this abundance rather than scarcity. When you stop yourself and take note of all that you have right now, you’ll attract more into your life to be grateful for.
Start an abundance journal and write down every little thing that makes you feel abundant each day.
