This past weekend I went to see the new Disney Pixar movie Inside Out. Here’s the summery taken from IMdb.com
“After young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions – Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness – conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school. The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.”
While I watched this movie, I thought about how many of us are on a constant pursuit to be happy and joyful and it can often feel forced or difficult. I was reminded how important it is to make room for all our emotions- both positive and negative ones.
Remember, the Law of Attraction matches your feelings and gives you more of the same. It’s crucial to authentically feel what you’re feeling, even if it’s a negative emotion, so you clear it and make room to feel happy, joyful and more positive.
