Life can feel challenging and hard at times. Sometimes it feels as if life makes no sense at all. This is when you throw your arms up in the air and simply say “WTF Universe!? This must be a test.”
Here’s the thing. The Universe isn’t testing you. It doesn’t have a brain so it can’t decide what’s good or bad for you. The job of the Universe is simply to check the vibration or energy that you send out, match it and give you more of the same.
So when you’re feeling depressed, sad, confused, frustrated, scared and impatient, you’re sending that energy out and the obedient Universe sends you more crap to feel negative about.
When things aren’t going your way, your natural instinct may be to push harder and try to figure things out. But trying to control the outcome just stops the flow and actually repels whatever you desire.
Here’s a much more effective strategy. Ask for help. Have you heard the saying “Ask and it is given?” Well this is actually a law. When you ask, you are given 100% of the time. But most people simply fail to ask. They think they’re in this world alone and have to come up with all the answers by themselves.
Whether you believe in God, a Higher Power, the Universe, Angels, Spirit or Elvis, you are being guided. And help is just a question away. So ask for a financial miracle. Or ask for clarity or guidance or what step to take next or a sign that you’re on the right track. Or simply just ask for better days ahead.
When I’m feeling scared or uncertain about the future I like to go back to what instantly makes me feel happy. Music. And one of my favourite songs to help me get back in the right frame of mind is Something’s Coming from West Side Story. Here’s one of my favourite verses.
Could it be? Yes, it could.
Something’s coming, something good,
If I can wait!
Something’s coming, I don’t know what it is,
But it is
Gonna be great!
So hang in there. Ask for what you need. Then trust, believe and have faith that something great is coming for you too.
Watch the whole video of Something’s Coming. Then make a point of asking everyday for the help you need.
